COMMITMENT TO YOUR SAFETY
At The Fairways at Twin Lakes, our staff is committed to providing you with the best golfing experience possible. For the sake of our patrons and employees, we are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (Covid-19) and taking the lead to implement procedures to ensure the welfare and health of everyone. Unlike many other sports and public events, golf can safely occur with the concept of “social distancing” when proper procedures and precautions set forth. The Fairway at Twin Lakes would like to share with you the measures that will be put in place as of Wednesday, March 18th, 2020.
Extensive Steps to Promote “Social Distancing”
In accordance to the order given by Governor Mike Dewine to prevent large gatherings, the bar, better known as The Lodge, will be closed to the public at this time. We are increasing the length between tee-times from 8 minutes to 10 minutes to help create space among groups on the course. We encourage all guests to make tee times & pay on our website if possible and your cart will be waiting in front of the clubhouse upon your arrival. Walk-in golfers will be offered the next available time, but we will be unable to squeeze you in between reserved times. You must be on the tee ready to play golf at your allotted time. If a member of your party is late, they must meet up with your group on the course. You may order beverages and snacks prior to the round. On the course we are strongly encouraging that all groups play ready golf at a 15 minute or less pace per hole. All flagsticks must remain in the hole. We are also requiring all groups on the course remain a safe distance apart during the round. At the conclusion of the round, we are asking that all carts are returned to a designated area where they will be washed and properly sanitized prior to returning to service.
As you can see, The Fairways of Twin Lakes is going to unprecedented lengths to make your safety a priority during this difficult time. Also, from the mental health perspective, we believe that golf at our facility can and will provide a needed respite, even if it is brief, from the serious challenges presently faced by all in our community and in the world. We will continue to closely follow any developments at the local, state and federal level and also follow guidelines issued by the CDC and WHO with the hopes of remaining open for the
We look forward to serving you during this uncertain period and during the rest of 2020 as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Fairways of Twin Lakes. Please call (330) 673-7888 for current course information and to book a tee time.
